I really enjoyed this book. Lizzie is the oldest of a big family. She is always the one that takes care of everyone. She has always been the responsible one. Her family owns a big company with her dad being the president of it. In her eyes he has always been bigger than life. Lizzie works for the company too. The whole family comes together when her dad has a accident, and ends up in the hospital. It is Lizzie that steps up to be president of the company in her father's absent.
Before the accident Lizzie allowed herself one night just to let lose, and live a little. While drinking in a bar, she met a sexy cowboy. The shared one passionate night together. Two months later she thought it was the right thing to do, to let Chris know that he was going to be a father. She didn't need anything from him. She just wanted to let him know. I loved how Chris didn't make demands, but he was there for Lizzie. He wanted what was best for Lizzie, and his baby. It was nice to see the friendship form, and grow over time. The two had disagreements from time to time. It kept the story real. What I really liked is the two talked through the issues that came up, like grownups. They forgave each other, and moved on.

This was a nice light read, that warmed the heart.

This is a story that happens some times regardless of care . Is a situation that usually has complications and variety of solutions. The solution here I think is not the usual one that unfortunately is the case.

This was a good book and the plot was very enjoyable. Having read the prequel I felt like I already knew the characters and was catching up with friends. A Finn Alward must read book.
